minimal classes needed to use JSVGCanvas in applet

I am trying to reduce the size of the jar file used to contain classes displaying svg.

 

I would like to reduce the size of this jar file and batik jars take most percentage of space, I’d also don’t want to use network loading of classes.

 

Is there a lean distribution available with minimal functionality defined for it?

 

Please do let me know of any info out there.
