Description: Our client is looking for a Lead Consultant of Information
Security to handle the following responsibilities:
Project Delivery:
· Ensure high client satisfaction measurements on personal contribution to
service area?s deliverables
· Comply with practice procedures and directives while assuring that team
members do likewise
· Comply with delivery, quality control, and quality assurance methodologies
· Assure project deliverables that are compliant with deployment process and
delivery methodology
· Meet agreed upon personal and team staffing utilization levels, and delivery
quality standards
· Provide routine and effective internal and client communication per
established standards
· Participate in any post project reviews for purpose of continuously improving
service offering
· Maintain project end dates and forecast project tasks
· Escalate issues with a sense of urgency, complying with escalation procedure
· Recognize add-on business opportunities and inform the Engagement Manager
· Support assigned team members in forecasting and tracking for projects
Personal Development:
· Achieve and maintain professional certifications in information availability
· Maintain accurate personal forecasts on a timely basis and actively
communicate potential availability
Practice Development:
· Contribute to knowledge base of service materials (SOWs, SAAGs, SOPs, etc)
· Contribute to knowledge transfer/knowledge management processes, including
leading knowledge team
· Mentor junior consultants in any area of subject matter expertise
· Develop and deliver internal training in area of expertise
Qualifications :
· BS in Information Technology, or related field; or BS in Business
Administration with related experience (IT Audit, Risk Management, Information
Security). Masters Degree a plus.
· CISSP, or CISM designation or actively pursuing related professional
designation.
· 6 to 10 years of professional experience required; 2 years direct consulting
experience required
· Minimum of 5 years experience with IT Security risk analysis / assessments,
regulatory, audit, IT Security Management or related position.
· Prior work experience in a regulated environment (a plus) along with a
Firm understanding of regulations including Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA); Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.
· General technical knowledge and/or expertise in multiple areas of
information systems technology (e.g. operating systems, networking software,
databases, client/services computing, LAN, PC?s, etc.)
· Mastery of information systems security principles and best practices,
general IT concepts, incident response and recovery, and Business Continuity.
· Experience in Information Technology strategy planning, information security
program development and administration, security architecture design and
technology assessment.
· Demonstrated skills in addressing complex privacy and regulatory issues
and developing enterprise wide security management programs.
· Firm understanding of ISO17799 policy and procedure guidelines. Background
knowledge of ISO15408
· Advanced project management, planning, organizational communication skills,
and ability to scope prospective engagements, develop proposals and negotiate
project contracts.
· Self-motivated, dedicated team player, able to work effectively in an
unsupervised environment.
· Proven track record of providing quality, timely deliverables in a fast
paced, deadline intensive environment.
· Flexibility to work on multiple tasks, handle shifting priorities, and
maintain efficiency is task accomplishment.
· Proven track record of outstanding service, client satisfaction and quality
results.
· Able to establish rapport and build long-term relationships with internal and
external clients.
· Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive
information.
· Exceptional ability to quickly learn new concepts, techniques, and approaches.
· Demonstrated pursuit of continuous self-development.
