I don't think I've seen Cylekx 2.3 mentioned here before:
"Description
An entirely new graphics program built on our new high performance
imaging libraries. These libraries started out as tools for our
personal use, now after gaining strength for many years we decided to
make them into a user program.
Typical uses and users
Art, Graphic design, photographers, movie effects and web animations.
Purpose and comments
To deliver fast, easy, customizable, and versatile graphics
processing.
We recommend a dual core system not more than 2 years old with an
absolute minimum of 1gb free on top of the OS, but 3gb or 4gb is
better."

23 MB download! I have not tried Cylekx. My system does not meet the
RAM requirement and I have no use for this type of program anyway.
Anyone for Cylekx?
"Image editing: All typical 2000 or later specs are ok. Recommend 512mb
ram.
Animations / video: Recommend a dual core system with 1gb ram and disk
space for virtualizing."
It is to wonder what comprises "disk space for virtualizing".
