I use Blowfish Advanced CS - have done for years now. It's secure (
Blowfish etc. ), fast, reliable, does batch jobs and can integrate
with the shell ( can be run standalone too, without integration ).

In nost cases the folder will open and the files will be visible, but
unreadable. Most programs will change the filename or add an
extension.
