When Community Groups renew their Core Contributor grants, does the OGB
expect that the CGs vote and that there be a record of that vote? Or do the

send it to the OGB for recording/updating? I can`t find where this process
is specified.

I'm not sure this is written down anywhere, so I believe this to be unspecified.
Advocacy is somewhat unique in having its own actual procedures for this, so
if you don't know, then nobody will.

Well, we have documentation for creating CCs but not for renewing them. :)

However, most of the CC renewals I saw in the run-up to the most recent election
did take the form of a proper vote, if that helps in establishing
precedent. I don't
think that simply requesting renewal and having it go through without
any oversight
isn't a good thing.

I've created a suggestion for OGB 2008/009, which says basically:

Procedures for renewal of Contributor and Core Contributor grants
should be the same as for the initial grant. In particular, a vote
under the same terms as the initial grant should still take place.

I think this reasonable. If no one objects, I`ll add this concept to our processes.
