Surely. Unfortunately, opensolaris.org does not get the amount of
eyeballs that Slashdot does. Maybe next time they would consider a
pointer back to our site.

I think the interface was disappointing - but the barrier to
participating is potentially easier than people getting an IRC client
and joining a channel. I believe the Slashdot folks are looking into
improving the user interface in future.
We may think about putting on regular IRC chat sessions in future to
talk about OpenSolaris.
Surely the Java-based IRC client we have on opensolaris.org would work?
