During active duty military service, one of the first things
one might learn, if one is to survive, is that your FEET are
the most used, abused, tried, taxed, yea - even the most
important part of your self - your survival and the accomplishment
of the misson, thus you take *very, very, good care of your feet!*
Little things, like "leather allows your feet to breathe" and
"gore-tex wicks moisture away from your feet" and "cotton or
wool is better for your skin than chemical fibers" etc., make
the difference between success and failure.
For a guy that's worth hundreds of millions of dollars, $520
is not quite that much to pay for some good shoes... Fucking
old-timer can't hardly lift his hands over his shoulders, but
I'd be willing to bet he's got a near perfect pedicure too!
It ain't ghay, dwoods and dwoodettes, it's plain hygiene!
I've got a set from Nike that were nearly $300... Not bragging,
they just outperform Converse or Addidas by a-thousand-fold...
