1st response is please never do this, forcing background music isn't
nice. Make the tune a link so it's optional.

remember the code I used to use to make the music play in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. Can anyone help?

Well the other post has issues, a) JavaScript, won't work if it's blocked by AV or FW.
b) loop=infinite
c) loop=true

b) and c) are exactly why it's so horrible.

This isn't for a regular web page. I am creating a web based greeting card in Greeting Card Factory and the url will be sent to only one person who will have no trouble viewing it. Greeting Card Factory has an option to add sound to the cards but it doesn't do it correctly. The sound doesn't play in any browser. One glitch that is causing this is that there is an error in the sound code it generates. It names any sound file a wav. I can go in and correct this part, but the sound still won't play in the browsers. I remember finding a way to get it to work in a previous version I had a few years ago but I can't remember how I did it.
