Why double click the post? Do you mean the picture icon. Or you mean you
haven't downloaded the post, hence the double click to get it.

From the helpfile -
Options Dialog, Display
Messages Body Images Panel
This panel controls how images are displayed in the Message pane. These
settings apply to image attachments and inline images for plain-text
messages. The settings do not apply to inline images
The 1st option says - Display images thet are attached as files.

Usually setting something like IrfanView to take over the file
associations works great, swapped to that method for Agent years ago and
never changed for other newsreaders.

Haven't changed Agent settings for years since getting it to work just
right.
