I have many LG products (microwave oven, rear-pro TV, 2 x DVD players)
and now this, and they've all been fine and flawless so far. So yeah,
I like LG and can highly recommend them. It's just a shame about this
appliance's manual. As for why you avoided LG, that's too bad; they
produce great products from my own first-hand experience.

On the flipside, I've had endless trouble with two Panasonic products
that I own (camcorder and DVD recorder) and wish I'd never bought them.
So you see, all brands are at risk of faults/problems/etc.

Now, if you can help with my problem instead of rubbishing my choice
of brand, that would be great!
