The file saved without the DLM extension, except when it's the wrong
size.

The one Nero (other burning tool) doesn't object to with the block size
error, before you burn. I aborted a d/l of the x64 image to check, got
the error in Nero, then continued until completed and Nero burnt it
fine.

Used the recommended d/l manager method,
vista_5384.4.060518-1455_winmain_beta2_x64fre_client-LB2CxFRE_EN_DVD.iso
file on disk properties - 4.01 GB (4,309,368,832 bytes)
rounded figure in explorer, 4,208,368KB

Didn't really intend to look at the 32b ver, however

vista_5384.4.060518-1455_winmain_beta2_x86fre_client-LB2CFRE_EN_DVD.iso

when you allow the d/l manager to start, the value in the size field is
- 3.13GB, the status field says allocating 3.13GB, go figure.

during this process the filename is
vista_5384.4.060518-1455_winmain_beta2_x86fre_client-LB2CFRE_EN_DVD.iso.dlm
file on disk - 3.12 GB (3,355,602,944 bytes)
rounded figure in explorer, 3,276,953KB

You would think MS hadn't heard of md5, but it's most likely checking in
the d/l manager which is why they say to use it.
