you're on the right track, but you'll lose access to your XP partition. When 
dual booting, it's wise to put older operating systems on first, ie 98, then 
XP, not the other way round. If you don't want to re-install XP after 98, 
then you'll need to use a boot manager.

No doubt someone else might have a work-a-round that overcomes this problem
