Just upgraded to an XFX 6800GS video card (from a sparkle 6600GT) All
is well except it has 2 DVI connectors (No Analog 15 pin) no worries I
thought... Just use the supplied DVI to VGA adaptor.

It does work fine except my fonts appears a tiny bit blurry... Not
really bad but JUST enough to annoy the crap out of me!!!
I also noticed a little bit of ghosting as well...

I am running a KDS 19" CRT at 1280x1024 at 85Hz

The display has always been crystal clear since I have had this screen.

I assume it is the DVI adaptor that is causing it & have tried a few
different adaptors with different #'s of pins but all to no avail.

Dropping the res to 1024x768 helps a little but the display still does
not look quite right.

Mucked around with almost every setting I can find... Still no change.

Appears worst with black text on a white background... Other
combinations appear to look a bit better.

Is this a common issue with these adaptors? If so i might need to bite
the bullet & grab myself a 19" LCD a bit quicker than I expected.

Pity though as my KDS is still going strong!

Any ideas anyone...? Would really appreciate some help if anyone has
any ideas?

Cheers in advance...

Mike.
