Thanks for your replies. I have more time now to explain my situation
fully.
I have a Intel 64bit machine, 160gb hdd and have win64 installed in the
first partition, C:\ and winxp on D:\
When I first installed the os'es on the drive I didn't figure that the
apps that I needed wouldn't run on win64 and I didn't expect that I would
need winxp almost exclusively. I have tried very hard to delete the win64
partition from the winxp admin, but the format option is greyed out. Also
my girlfriend has most of her movie clips on it and she's been editing it
and is a little touchy about me messing around with. Do not want to upset
her in any little way. I have tried also to resize the partition but my
copy of partition magic won't run on a 64bit machine.
Space is not really a problem but keeping the links within the editing
program is so expanding the winxp D:\ drive is what I think my only option.
