I remember a suggestion to go to START/RUN/%TEMP% and then to delete all files found in there. I have about 800 files there (almost all .tmp files but some other folders as well -- ADOBE, VBE, and a couple of others). Can I safely delete these files?? (Perhaps I should first empty the recycle bin, then delete the files, and I can then restore them from the recycle bin if there is a problem). Also, is this a large number of files and is my computer likely to be more "perky" after such a deletion? Mel |
